Here I write in chronological order comments, quick communications, etc…
MSc Theses: I accept MSc students for thesis (contact me on Umberto.Spagnolini@polimi.it) and it is not strictly required to have attended or passed my ADSP exam. Topics are from hot-topic research activities within JLab Polimi-Huawei, and the main subjects are the following (I suggest to check the keywords underlined on Google and Google Scholar to gain some insight on each topic):
- Intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS) and smart skins for 6G [assigned]
- 6G connectivity (V2X) for autonomous driving vehicles [very hot-topic in industry!]
- Reinforced learning beam alignment in 6G beamspace systems
- Vehicle-to-vehicle channel estimation by machine learning methods [assigned]
- Joint communication and sensing [very hot-topic in industry!]
- Position tracking on extreme conditions
- Neural signal processing for nerve recovery (bioengineering) [assigned]
Interested in PhD in statistical signal processing and/or statistical machine learning topics? Do you have a good knowledge of fundamentals (see here for min. graduate level)? Then, have a check here first and follow the links, work on application and contact me before uploading. I accept only strong candidates on communication and information theory, mathematics, statistics, signal processing and machine learning.
Topics are:
- Reinforced learning in 6G V2X systems
- Reinforced learning for dynamic reconfigurable EM environment
